Top Blokes Foundation is a growing organisation that empowers young men 18-24 years to positively contribute to our community in a variety of ways. If you share this vision and want to build your skills in marketing, business development, event management, finance, multimedia or have your own ideas about how to build more Top Blokes then consider volunteering with us.
If you are a creative type, particularly with words, then joining the Marketing division here at TB HQ might just be for you. Generating promotion material, coordinating and nutting-out marketing plans to reach relevant target audiences, updating website and print content are all in the day’s work for this department.
On a day –to- day basis you will engage in writing TB newsletters, coordinate press releases with local media, and continual correspondence with sponsors and young men. You will be buddied up with Jacinta and Leizel. Be warned: they love their Pascal Swirls and pearl teas. Also a side of Pad Thai would not go astray! Overseeing various Top Bloke campaigns is the role of Project Management. Incredible attention to detail, and focus on the logistics of events to achieve overall objectives, is the role of project manager. If your motto is “Don’t tell me sky’s the limit, when there are footprints on the moon”, then you must be related to Mel, and are truly destined for a role in project management here at TB HQ.
Gadget whizz kids need not apply! Visually creative types with a keen interest in editing would suit the multimedia division. If you have an eye for photography, filming, editing video footage and graphic design, and are searching for inspiration and interesting subject matter, then look no further! If rushing around town choosing coloured napkins is more your thing (serious, who doesn’t like floral napkins?), then the Events division at TB HQ is for you! Coordinating events with great attention to detail, making phone calls, writing lists and being on top of everything, all at once may seem like a daunting task, but all of your hard work will pay off when everything goes to plan, like clockwork. It’s all about the people! The Admin division at TB HQ looks after all volunteers and any new recruits to the team and takes care of any administration tasks (yay fun for everyone). If you have a keen interest in meeting selection criteria, seeing the strengths and areas of improvement in people corporate governance, finance and accounting then we need you! Go team go!
