Learning & Development Manager

The role

Top Blokes Foundation aims to build a culture that will enable exceptional team performance where employees will embrace growth and self-improvement, leading to increased social impact. The Learning and Development Manager will develop, attract and retain talented individuals and be responsible for implementing the Top Blokes Foundation’s L&D Framework and achieving its targets and deliverables.

This role is a newly created position within Top Blokes Foundation and the L&D Manager will be tasked with building the foundations of a strong and robust L&D structure that supports the people and culture. Within the role, the L&D Manager will manage and lead the development of all Top Blokes Foundation employees, volunteers and delivery partners and deliver a range of training plans and programs, build individual and organisational capability, align with industry best practice, program outcomes and organisational objectives.

The L&D Manager will oversee the learning and development of individuals across the organisation’s footprint in NSW and QLD. Interstate state and regional travel will be a component of this position.

  • A leader – you’re capable of growing a fun, caring, collaborative and honest team environment  and training team members who can carry that into the safe space of the mentoring programs.

  • A touchstone – you can work with and train our regional Youth Workers to deliver our mentoring programs to a high and consistent standard, no matter where we are.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum qualification of Certificate IV Training & Assessment

  • Experience in eLearn software and delivering blended training (between in-person and virtual)

  • Solid knowledge and application of contemporary learning practices (e.g. learning strategies, needs assessments, capability mapping, instructional design)

  • Previous experience with the development and implementation of e-Learning content, programs and solutions

  • Facilitation and presentation skills

  • Drivers License
