State of Origin Match Tickets Draw Contest
Terms & Conditions
TERMINOLOGY
“Contest” refers to the State of Origin Match Tickets Draw Contest run by Top Blokes Foundation in May/June 2023.
"Entrant" refers to a user who enters the contest for a chance to win the prize.
“Match” refers to either of the State of Origin matches in the prize (Game 2 occurring on 21 June 2023 and Game 3 occurring on 12 July 2023).
“Mentor” refers to qualified youth workers employed by Top Blokes Foundation.
"Prize" refers to any of the eight (8) tickets to be won as part of this contest.
"Program" refers to Top Blokes Foundation's Mentoring Programs.
"RNG" refers to the single random number generator used to draw the prizes for this contest.
"Winner" refers to an entrant who has been announced as a winner and has claimed their prize.

The contest opens on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at 7pm AEST and closes on Tuesday, 13 June 2023 at 11:59pm AEST. No further entries will be collected after this point. The winners of the prizes will be drawn on Wednesday, 14 June 2023 at 12pm AEST.

There are eight (8) prizes to be won, each consisting of a State of Origin match ticket:

Four (4) 2023 State of Origin Game 2 tickets in QLD; and
-
Four (4) 2023 State of Origin Game 3 tickets in NSW.

For an entry to be eligible, an individual must complete the Graduate Club application form to join the Top Blokes Graduate Club, tick the box to confirm contest participation in the form, and have received a confirmation email with an allocated contest entry number.

Contest entrants must:

Be aged 12 or older at the time of contest entry; and

Have graduated from a Top Blokes Program or be on track to graduate by the end of school term 2 of 2023; and
-
Be located in Queensland, Australia or New South Wales, Australia; and
-
Be available to attend the match.

Employees of Top Blokes Foundation or any person associated with the contest and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

In the Graduate Club application form, entrants and guests will need to provide the necessary Top Blokes Program participation details to Top Blokes Foundation. Top Blokes Foundation will check these details against their database to confirm Program graduation.

Only one (1) contest entry per individual is permitted.

Entries and creation of entries must not include anything illegal or dangerous. Doing so may result in the relevant entries being disqualified from the contest and/or reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Winners must attend the State of Origin match within their state, i.e. a winner in Queensland cannot attend the State of Origin match in New South Wales.

Winners must arrange their own transport to the State of Origin match.

The prizes are subject to the decisions and terms and conditions of the State of Origin organisers. Top Blokes Foundation claims no responsibility for match cancellations or revisions, or non-attendance by winners due to illness or other unforeseeable circumstances. In the instance that a match is cancelled, revised, or cannot be attended, the prizes will not be exchanged or replaced.

A maximum of two (2) Mentors from Top Blokes Foundation will be accompanying winners to each State of Origin match.

On the contest draw date (Wednesday, 14 June, 2023), contest entries will be divided based on state location.

For the NSW prize draw, all NSW contest entry numbers will be added to a random number generator. A winning number will be drawn, then removed from the RNG. This will be repeated until all NSW prizes have been drawn, then the RNG will be cleansed of the remaining contest entry numbers.

For the QLD prize draw, all QLD contest entry numbers will be added to the RNG. A winning number will be drawn, then removed from the RNG. This will be repeated until all QLD prizes have been drawn.

Details of winners will be posted on Top Blokes Foundation’s Instagram channel (@topblokesfoundation) on Wednesday, 14 June 2023 and will remain there for a minimum of 30 days.

From Wednesday, 14 June 2023, all reasonable steps will be taken to contact the winners, however any prizes that remain unclaimed by Sunday, 18 June 2023 will be forfeited and will go into another random draw with the existing pool of entrants, bar the already-drawn winners. The draw will follow the same format as the initial contest draw. This ‘unclaimed prize draw’ will take place on Monday, 19 June 2023 at 12pm AEST. In this instance, the winners will be announced on the Top Blokes Foundation State of Origin Match Tickets Draw Terms & Conditions webpage, with their full names and entry numbers on display for a minimum of 30 days.

All winners will receive their prize via email. Any issues receiving these prizes should be directed to gradclub@topblokes.org.au

The content of contest entries will be owned by Top Blokes Foundation, as well as photos and video taken on the day. These may be used for marketing and communications purposes. All entrants are within their right to withdraw consent of content use at any time, which will prohibit any further use of an entrant's content (past use is not included). Please contact gradclub@topblokes.org.au to withdraw consent.
