Meet Jacob
Regional coordinator – Illawarra & South Coast
Hi, I’m Jacob. Since 2022, I’ve been dedicated to supporting youth mental health across the Illawarra & South Coast NSW. With a Diploma in Youth Work and personal insight into the struggles young people face, I’m committed to creating safe spaces where young men feel comfortable opening up and finding genuine support.
My team of qualified and experienced Youth Workers are here to tackle tough issues head-on, from mental health challenges to the impacts that can shape their futures. Our mission is simple: to ensure every young male feels heard, valued, and empowered.
Our Programs
MENTORING FOR BOYS
Three month program for boys to become the confident, responsible young men they deserve to be. Weekly workshops focus on cultivating resilience, empathy, and positive masculinities through essential life skills in mental health, relationships, online safety and leadership.
MENTORING FOR TEENS
Six month program to help teens foster better mental health, more responsible decision-making and deeply respectful relationships via our dynamic program for young males. Proven to improve school attendance, our long term mentoring program also reduces behaviour issues and enhances overall wellbeing.

My son really enjoyed Top Blokes as he was given knowledge to feel like he was contributing to a conversation around a topic instead of it being ‘his mum’ talking about something ‘cringy’. He was glad to be in Top Blokes. And I am glad he was too.
Parent
I’m more confident and willing to seek help if I need it. I’ve learnt during the Top Blokes Program that nobody does anything great by themselves and everybody needs help from time to time and it’s not weak to ask for help.

These boys have come so far. From the very beginning of the program, these guys were always really open and willing to share their opinions and ideas on whatever we were speaking about, even if it was in slight disagreement with what we were saying but they would always be so respectful with how they would engage with us.
